Inputting Data

To track your expenses:

  1. Enter Income: Start by inputting your monthly income in the ‘Enter Income’ field.

  2. Enter Expenses : Add individual expenses by:

    • Selecting a category from the ‘Category’ dropdown.

    • Entering the expense amount.

    • Clicking ‘Add Expense’ to add it to the summary.

The ‘Summary’ tab displays :

  • A bar chart of your income, expenses, and savings.

  • A scatter plot showing expenses by category.

  • A table containing the information you’re inputting, updating as you enter more data.

    • This is an interactive table, so you can change the values inside it, in case you make an input error.

The ‘Compare to the average’ tab allows you to view how your spending compares to swiss average expenses.

  • Toggle between ‘Scatter Plot’ and ‘Pie Chart’ to change the expense visualization.

  • Use the ‘Colorblind-Friendly’ option for accessible color palettes.
